Oh COVID, I hate your stinking guts. You make me vomit. You are the guuunk between my toes. Love, Alfalfa (and everyone else in the world)
2020 has not been kind of anyone this year. Least of all, all the sweet couples trying to just get married. All my weddings from April – end of May have been postponed; some to the Fall and some to next year.
But with all the canceling and postponing going on, love and marriage will not be canceled.
I have shot a few intimate weddings in April. I felt like I could do so safely and I was so grateful for the opportunity to be there for these couples allowing me to capture their beautiful intimate ceremonies. They couldn’t wait to get married and I’m all for couples starting their married lives whenever they think is best!
Jackie + Jon-Erik got married on their original wedding date, April 4 at a little white church in Purceville, VA. Their big celebration has been postpone to November where they will have their reception at Sylvanside Farm. Being able to photograph their ceremony was such a joyful thing to witness. Tears and laughter and love still overflowed that day. And really, I just love when my couples are so excited to be married.
