The Process
I’m now booking for 2026 and 2027.
First step is to send me an inquiry using my contact form. You’ll hear back from me with in the 24-48 hours of sending the inquiry form. In that email, I’ll give you a glimpse of my approach, what I’m excited over for your wedding (based on the answers you’ve given me), my pricing guide, a few full galleries, and a schedule link to set up our Discovery Call.
Engagement Session
I have a portrait session guide that I'll send over to help you choose locations and outfits. We can also brainstorm other locations based on the vision you might have. Your engagement session is a good time to get good practice in with being comfortable in front of the camera. I have fun prompts that will help you get out of your head and make the whole process enjoyable.
I offer a collaborative experience for your wedding day.
Send me inspo photos so I know what type of photos you are hoping for in your gallery. I’ll send you ideas of things I’m thinking about or would like to try. The day of your wedding I bring a calming and confident presence to your day so that you have room to breathe in the moments, allow them to wash over you, and not worry about a thing.
Gallery Delivery
After the wedding day, you can count on previews to be delivered within the week after your wedding. I get SO excited to show you how amazing you look and how special the moments are. The full gallery will be delivered within 8-10 weeks. When you get the gallery, take time to go through each photo together. Grab a glass of wine from your reception dinner, and put on your wedding playlist and relive those sweet and amazing moments all over again.
I only take about 7 weddings each year so I can fully put myself into each wedding throughout the whole process from the inquiry, to the Discovery Call, to the actual wedding day and my editing. I like to take my time to go through each gallery and fully curate beautiful images that tell a cohesive story with all the candid and portraits, taking out distracting elements in the photos and making little things look 10x better than what they are straight from the camera.

01. What is your approach to wedding photography?
My approach is all about helping you feel comfortable on your wedding day. During your portraits together, we’ll move you into beautiful lighting and then give small subtle prompts that feel natural. At other points of the day, I will step back and allow moments to breathe or I am anticipating emotions and moments happening. I am very much a documentary photographer while also helping you look and feel amazing and comfortable in front of the camera.
I have a unique ability to create a calm and familiarity with my couples to ensure they are comfortable in front of my camera. We are basically best friends already so when I come into your getting ready suite, it's as if a good friend has just joined the party.
I often show up to the venue early so that I can come up with plans for photos, scoping out the natural light while also keeping in mind the beauty of your venue and why you chose to get married there.
02. How would you describe your style?
My editing is very true to life. My greens are actually green and my skin tones are warm and lively. The goal is to keep your photos looking timeless.
03. How many weddings do you take a year?
I take on 7 a year so that I can give my full attention
to each of my couples who trust me to photograph their
wedding.
That's ok! A professional photographer should walk in to any
venue and know how to handle the day. That being said, I
always show up early the day of the wedding to scope it, see
what the light is doing, and come up with my game plans.
04. What if you've never shot at my venue?
I typically deliver around 100 images per hour. I tend to be
very selective in my galleries to not overwhelm the client with
too many options. I give you the best of the best!
05. How many images do you typically deliver?
Engagement sessions will take about 2-3 weeks. Wedding
galleries will be about 8-10 weeks.
06. What is the turnaround time for the galleries?
For most weddings, I suggest a 9 hour package. The point is to not feel rushed and let moments happen. If you have three
different locations for us, then I would suggest a 10 hour day.
This is one of the best days of your lives! Take a minute to
breathe it all in and relish in your new partner and all your
favorite people together.
07. How many hours do you suggest?
You will have access to your gallery for as long as I'm in
business. Do your best to save your images right away and
save them in many different computers and hard drives. And
of course, the best way to save your images is to print them
or put them in an album! They shouldn't be hidden on an
external hard drive!
08. How long will I have access to my gallery?
Absolutely! There is a small travel fee for weddings beyond
60 miles one way from my home. And of course, if I need a
flight and hotel, those are not included in the packages.
09. Do you travel?
Knock on wood, that has not yet happened to me. I am a very
active person and always ensure I am eating healthy and taking
care of my body so that I can be in tip top shape to shoot my
weddings. But if something were to happen, then I would hire
an associate photographer with similar professionalism and
caliber. You would still get all the editing and delivering done
by me.
