You wouldn’t think when you hear the name “American Pharmacists Association” that it’s a wedding venue. But oh man, it’s such a classic DC spot to be married. It’s right across the street from the Lincoln Memorial and has that gorgeous marble architecture that is so so useful in photographs (hello, natural reflectors!).

Caitlin and Paul had just that, a classic DC wedding. From the navy colors the bridesmaids wore, the gorgeous all white bouquets, and the scenic views at the top of their reception. It was all so incredibly perfect. And it was a perfect way for me to end my 2018 wedding season.

Caitlin and Paul were the most laid back couple. They easily went with the flow when I asked if they were up for stopping in the middle of the street to take a picture when we crossed over to get to the Lincoln. I loved the way they walked out of their ceremony smiling and giggling with each other. I couldn’t stop taking all the natural reactions of them enjoying the first few moments of married life together.

And, the gorgeous sunset gave for an amazing view on our last few pictures of the night looking out at the Washington Monument. TAKE ME BACK TO THAT DAY!
