Why not start 2019 off with blogging more? Since my next wedding isn’t until April this year, I have a lot of time (hopefully) during maternity leave to blog all the weddings and engagement shoots from 2018. So, expect more blogging from me this year!
That IS IF I can get on a good schedule with the new kid on the block. Btw, if you don’t know me already, I had my third baby a month ago. I’m VERY slowly getting into the swing of things.
Brad + Alyssa’s wedding was in December 2017. But it was such a sweet, gorgeous wedding, I wanted you all to see it!
Alyssa got ready at her town home on Capitol Hill. Instead of a first look, they opted to do a faux first look where they meet, but don’t see each other. They used the calm moment to pray with each other. Their ceremony was held at Capitol Hill Baptist Church and their reception was at Old Fox Bookstore in Annapolis. I know…A BOOKSTORE!! It’s like all my Beauty and the Beast dreams come true!
Their wedding day was also the COLDEST day ever! We just had a big dumping of snow earlier that week and it was still pretty windy on their wedding day, but everyone was big troopers in the cold and the amazing winter light gave from some romantic pictures.
Anyway, I’m talking too much. Take a look at their sweet wedding day.
(As a photographer, I’m always anticipating the next move of my couples. I had a feeling Brad would do something sweet after sitting down. I thought he would lean over to his soon-to-be wife, but instead, he took the moment to greet his soon-to-be mother in law for the first time that day. I just thought it was incredibly sweet of him to acknowledge her presence.)
(Oh I LOVE those just married first moments!)
(Oh, Alyssa…you gorgeous, girl! Work that camera!)
