We ventured out on the coldest morning ever in DC history…ok, probably not, but it was really cold. Cherry Blossom season in DC is always a pink, busy time of year. It’s really the start of tourist season. Everybody and their mother (literally!) comes from around the world to see these beautiful trees that were given to us from Japan in 1912 to encourage a growing friendship between Japan and the US. These pink puffs also serve as the main attraction for those looking to get their engagement pictures done. You can get so many fabulous pictures with these trees, you just have to know how to dodge the tourists.
I met Katie and Nathaniel a few weeks ago early, early in the morning to beat the rush. They were great troopers as we fought the cold.
Check out these lovely people. The cold really gave them an excuse to cuddle together a lot more. 🙂
